This piece depicts DC character Zatanna surrounded by her magic. The patterns in the background are inspired by Art Nouveau (which was, in turn, inspired by artist Jamal Campbell's official art of her) and Asian attributes. I wanted to convey the otherworldliness and fantastical nature of her magic.
