About This Work
An unofficial Heaven Official's Blessing artwork featuring the characters Mu Qing and Feng Xin. This artwork was specifically created to be depicted as a museum mural in the full piece. The idea was to have them look like they are suspended in time. I wanted to convey a sense of eery familiarity and nostalgia. Something like that vague heavy feeling you'd get when you see grand historical paintings and murals and you get an out-of-body experience when you start to realize these are people that have existed once but are now lost to time.
